Buddy Training

Buddy Training is when there is one trainer and two clients.

Clients may train with a friend or a partner, or they may be matched up with a client they haven't previously met (if they choose to do so).

It doesn't matter if both buddies are of very different fitness levels or have different goals, as our elite buddy training sessions accommodate both clients, with your trainer addressing each of your specific goals and needs throughout the session.

Training with a buddy gives you the motivation to be committed to your workouts so you don't let your buddy down. This sort of training session also enables you to share the path toward better fitness and health, and allows you to push and motivate each other to achieving your individual goals.  As with Personal Training your sessions are tailored for your individual needs so that you can achieve results faster.

All the research now shows that by being a healthy, active parent can reduce the chances of your child suffering from obesity.

Two Tips For You To Implement

  1. Take a stand against sedentary activity. It has become all too easy to allow television, computers and video games to occupy the time of children. A child that is not motivated and encouraged to move through physical activity, is a child that is more prone to becoming obese as a child and continuing that path well into adulthood.

  2. Encourage physical activities. Incorporating physical activities does not need to require an abundance of money. Many parents cannot afford to pay the high costs associated with extracurricular sports and activities that are aimed at getting the child involved with fitness. Physical activity can be as simple as taking a family walk in the evening after dinner, or going to the park and tossing a ball. Not only will this get the child moving, it will also encourage quality time between child and parent, which can motivate the child positively as they work toward reversing obesity.

"I was apprehensive when my husband signed us both up for JUMP START, because we have very different fitness levels. But I have to say it is the best thing we have ever done together. Not only have the trainers at JUMP START been able to accommodate our different needs, but we both feel healthy and motivated, and it is such a great feeling that we have done it together."
